Transferring photos from iPhone to Windows 10 PC

Connect your iPhone to your Windows 10 PC using a lightning cable.

If prompted on your iPhone, unlock your device and trust the computer by tapping "Trust" on the pop-up message.
You may also see a message on the phone to “Allow” access to the device. Tap “Allow” if this message appears.

On your Windows 10 PC, open the Photos app
You can find this by typing “Photos” in the search bar at the bottom of the screen.

In the Photos app, click on the "Import" button at the top right corner of the screen. Then select “From a connected device”

Select the photos you want to transfer from your iPhone to your Windows 10 PC. You can select all photos by clicking "Select All", or choose specific photos by clicking on each one.

Choose the folder where you want to save your imported photos. The folder will be displayed in the upper left corner and can be changed.

There is an option here to delete the photos from the phone after importing if you want them to be removed from the phone after transfer.

Click "Import" to start transferring your photos from your iPhone to your Windows 10 PC.

Once the transfer is complete, you can view your imported photos in the folder you selected by clicking the folder link, or click Ok.

By opening the folder in the previous step, you can rename the photo here by right-clicking the image and selecting “Rename” in the pop-up menu.
Type the new image name and hit Enter on the keyboard.
